Living a Life With Purpose

Today we’re talking about living a life with purpose.

Before I knew what this really meant, I used to roll my eyes at idea.

But living a life with purpose doesn’t mean you’re living some grandiose, inspirational life that’s full of spiritual significance, and worthy of dramatic theme music.

Uh, no. It means something quite a bit different. And that, my friend, is exactly what we’re going to talk about today.

So, living a life with purpose simply means we’re attaching meaning to our actions. There’s a reason WHY we’re doing something. And the more we can align these reasons with our true wants, needs and values, the more effective and satisfying our actions are going to be.

Living from a place of purpose is also going to make it easier for us to make decisions. Especially when those decisions are hard ones.

Before I got really clear about my own reasons for why I was doing ANYTHING in my life, I felt a lot of resistance towards change. Not only that, but I found myself easily distracted or swayed from my goals. And that’s because I didn’t have anything that really grounded me.

And that’s the root of all “successful” self care, is a strong grounding.

When we think about something that’s grounded, deeply rooted, it’s strong, secure, it’s able to grow exponentially. When something isn’t rooted, it’s flimsier, and more easily manipulated.

The more purpose we attach to our actions that actually comes from a heart-centered, wellness-focused place, the more conviction we have. The more confident we feel. The more likely we are to live the healthy, empowered and satisfying life we deserve.
And so, if you want discover your purpose, I’d like to invite you to my FREE Creative Self Care course.
