Somatic Bodywork
This isn't rehabilitation.
It's restoration and reclamation.
Somatic — from the Greek soma, meaning the living body in its wholeness. Not the body as a machine. Not the body as a problem. The body as the seat of sensation, emotion, memory, and intrinsic knowing.
This work is for people who want to come home to their bodies — not fix them. Whether you're carrying chronic stress, navigating a complicated relationship with touch, or simply craving a space where your nervous system can finally exhale, this work meets you there.
My Approach
I believe your body already knows how to heal. My job is to create the conditions for that to happen.
Every session is built around what your nervous system needs in that moment. Sometimes that's gentle, slow restoration. Sometimes it's deeper somatic work — following the body's own signals rather than pushing against them. Always it's a space where you feel met, seen, and unhurried.
The Experience
Sessions draw from a range of modalities — Traditional Swedish techniques, craniosacral therapy, myofacial release, somatic experiencing — woven together intuitively based on what you and your body is asking for. For those who want it, the work can become a full sensory experience: hot stones, sound elements like singing bowls and tuning forks, essential oils, crystals. Nothing is assumed or required, simply offered.
This is work that speaks to the whole of you — not just the physical, but the felt, the emotional, the energetic.
Creating Safety
Your comfort and consent guide everything. Before we begin, I take time to understand your needs, your history, and your boundaries. During the session, pressure and technique follow your body's responses. You remain covered and comfortable throughout, in a private home studio designed for this kind of deep work.
If bodywork has ever felt clinical, impersonal, or unsafe — this is something different.
