Bodywork

Stress is a somatic experience, meaning it's an embodied perception of physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts. That's a lot of fancy words. Essentially, stress affects your body, increasing pain perception and muscle tension. Consequently, pain and muscle tension keep your body in a stress response. Gentle, trauma-informed bodywork can help remind your body to relax so it can repair.
