Creative Self Care is the art of approaching wellness in innovative ways by tapping into the power of your conscious brain. 

By utilizing your natural-born abilities like curiosity, critical thinking, and ingenuity, you’ll be able to make wellness choices that align with your personality, lifestyle and the ACTUAL NEEDS.

Listen, you're smart, capable, and already practicing self care all day, every day. We all are.

The reason you feel like shit isn’t because you’re lacking as a human or bad at taking care of yourself. It’s because we live in a culture that’s sucking the life force out of you.

You’ve been conditioned to believe in bullshit about who you are, what you need and what you deserve. You’ve also been fed a string of lies about life's priorities and what self care is.

But here’s the thing, the greatest priority in life is making sure that it's a safe, healthy and satisfying one. And self care is anything you can do to make that life possible.

Our focus should be directed towards supporting our overall wellbeing. Not falling into the traps of our corrupt systems.

Our toxic culture would have you believe that happiness is the goal of “self care”. And that happiness comes from achieving patriarchal and capitalistic ideals of beauty, perfection, and consumption (just to name a few). 

We've been taught that we need to “fix” our “problems” in order to be "happy", and convinced that WE ARE the problem that needs fixing.

And THIS is why we feel like shit.

We’re exhausted from chasing happiness, trying to achieve the impossible, all the while falling further and further away from ourselves.

This isn't care. This is HARM.

Creative Self Care is going to help you break down the bullshit, and get back to basics.

It’s going to teach you how to look at the "big picture" of your human experience, and consider the pieces that create that picture.

You'll discover connections and patterns that often go unnoticed, and use them as the keys to cultivating a better life.

You'll learn to see yourself from a fresh perspective, leaving you feeling more confident, energized and in control.

It’s going to help you move out of survive mode and into thrive mode.

I'm here to tell you, not only is it possible, it's PROBABLE. You can get creative with your self care and live a healthier, empowered, more fulfilling life, if you have some guidance.


  • Challenge your definitions of "self care" and "self worth", and rewrite them with authority and authenticity. 

  • Learn about that marvelous meat-machine you live in so you can know how to care for it in effective and practical ways.

  • Build confidence while developing your sense of self so you can trust your body, your choices, and your intuition.

  • Explore wellness and empowerment practices that are effective, accessible and sustainable.

  • Feel valued, accepted and supported, just as you are.

I host a blog and podcast where we:

  • Develop a positive, growth mindset. 

  • Expand our self awareness.

  • Increase our body consciousness. 

  • Explore ways of caring for our WHOLE self (mind, body and mother-lovin' soul).

The goal is to educate ourselves so we can BELIEVE and TRUST in ourselves to understand the messages we receive from our brain and body, so we can clearly define our wants, needs and obstacles, and live a healthier, more satisfying life.

  • I'm nerdy, sassy, love to laugh, and I swear like a friggin' pirate. 

  • I'm a relentless researcher, who's dedicated to sharing all that I learn in a fun and simple way!

  • Science steers my ship, but I hold a special place in my heart for all the magical, mystical woo. 

  • I'm pro-abortion and gender affirming procedures, and support LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. So, if you're down for diversity and body autonomy, we're totally going to get along.
