Let's talk about who I am, what I'm actually doing here, and WHY.

For starters, I'm here to get your head straight about stress and deprogram that gorgeous brain of yours from societal wellness bullshit.
Being well doesn't mean you're thin, productive, disciplined, or fit within some other restrictive, arbitrary standards. It means you understand how your nervous system works—and have the tools to regulate it.
For too long, we've been sold the lie that burnout is a personal failing. That if you just tried harder, slept better, or had more willpower, you'd be fine.
That's garbage.
Your nervous system is responding exactly as it should to a world designed to keep you stressed, compliant, and consuming.
I teach nervous system literacy—how stress hijacks your thoughts, feelings, and habits, and what to do about it. Not with cookie-cutter solutions, but with evidence-based tools you can adapt to your actual wants, needs, values and lifestyle.
Why My Approach Is Different
A lot of wellness culture is soft and fluffy—trust the process, love and light, think positive. That might be fine for some people, but when shit gets real, you need something with a little more meat on its bones.
I know you can't get through your shit with spiritual bypassing or toxic positivity. And generic self-care advice isn't going to create LASTING change.
That's why I combine:
Science-backed nervous system regulation – Your body is incredibly smart when you understand how to work WITH it, instead of against it
Practical tools that fit REAL life – Not another wellness routine that makes you cringe, or can't maintain
Radical mindset shifts – Changing the narratives that taught you to shrink and apologize for having needs
Real talk about systemic oppression – The patriarchy, white supremacy, and capitalism all profit from your exhaustion. And it's time to stop playing the game
This isn't soft. This isn't another meditation app. This is nervous system education for people who refuse to accept burnout as the default.
From Survivor to Self-Care Revolutionary
I spent decades using my body as a punching bag—binge eating, drinking, smoking, extreme people-pleasing, workaholism. Anything to numb childhood trauma and prove I was enough.
When I stumbled into massage therapy school in 2009, something clicked. Learning about stress, pain, and how the body actually works opened a door I didn't know existed.
I dove into trauma research, somatic experiencing, nervous system regulation. And I discovered that my "failures" weren't personal shortcomings. They were logical responses to an illogical world.
Since then, I've made it my mission to heal myself while creating spaces for others to do the same.
Because once you understand WHO you are and HOW you function, the lights turn on. You stop taking your struggles personally and start taking your power back.
My Values Are Non-Negotiable
I stand firmly for:
- Bodily autonomy, including abortion rights and gender-affirming care
- LGBTQIA+ rights
- Racial justice and equity
- Healthcare accessibility for all
